Get ready for our biggest Demo Reel filming of the year! We film on multiple sets within the span of two days right before our Annual Houde Summit starts, August 19 & 20, 2026.

On Wednesday, August 19: We will be filming in the hospital set and the office set.

On Thursday, August 20: We will be filming on the Interrogation set and the hacker set.
With all these options you could have your procedural clips covered in your demo reel!

The versatility of all our sets gives you the option to play several roles to fit a number of types that you want to showcase in your Demo Reel!

How the process works:

• You register for one of the listed sets that are available on our website.

• We’ll send you the sides a week before filming.

• You arrive to set memorized, with a few costume choices, and hair and makeup - camera ready.

• You film, with acting coach Jessica Houde-Morris on set to help guide you.

• We edit the footage down to a 30 second clip, showcasing your acting.

• In 3-4 weeks you will receive the clip to use in your acting demo reel.

There are limited spots available to ensure everyone gets the time they need.

The spots sell out quickly as many of our current students will be in town and because they are a great way to showcase what you can do in common procedural roles.

About Our Demo Clips

• All clips are shot in 4K and delivered in both 4K and HD format.

• All clips are custom written to your typecast and focus solely on you.

• The length of all clips is 30 seconds.

• Your scene partner will be paired for you.

• Shooting multiple clips per day is encouraged especially if you’re already going to be in town for Houde Summit 2025.

  
  The Cost, per clip, is $240:

  
  But if you register with a scene partner you BOTH get $25 OFF — that’s $215 each!
  To register with a scene partner please email info@houdeschoolofacting.com and CC your scene partner.
  
  Then someone will reach out to both of you for payment and what day and set you’re looking to film.

Feel free to choose multiple roles and knock out several clips in a day. We’ve had many students play multiple roles in one day to be able to make the most of their time!
