What is Houde Summit 2026?

The Houde School of Acting Summit is a 4-day, in-person, interactive weekend of acting classes, seminars, and networking!

Who Is It For?

Houde Summit is designed for actors of all levels. We've worked to create an event that has something for everyone, wherever you are in your acting journey. Join us for a jam-packed weekend of learning essential skills and tools while having fun and creating memories in a supportive community.

What To Expect

1. Opportunities to learn from industry pros who know how to navigate the business.

2. Small group interactive classes with each of the guest teachers. Each actor will work and receive constructive critiques from the teachers.

3. Guest panel discussion with a Q&A hosted by Great Cleveland Film Commission Production Coordinator, Mike Wendt. Prepare your best industry questions!

4. A social cookout with food, games, and all your new friends.

5. 4 days of absolute FUN!

The Agenda

Thursday, August 20, 2025 - ‘Meet & Greet’

Take an opportunity to meet your teachers and fellow Summit attendees at Houde School of Acting in Downtown Cleveland.

Friday, August 21, 2025 – Day 1 Workshops

All actors will be placed into small groups and each group will work with a different guest teacher.

Saturday, August 22, 2025 – Day 2 Workshops

All actors will be placed into small groups and each group will work with a different guest teacher than the day before.

By the end of the two days, all actors will have had the opportunity to work with each guest teacher.
