Workshop Outline
March 13th 2027
Morning Session: Warm-Up & Guided Preparation
9:00 AM–11:00 AM | Full Group
The morning begins with a large-group warm-up followed by a guided preparation sequence designed to help actors explore how they personally prepare for a role, scene, class, or audition.
All morning participants should bring a character, scene, or script of their own choosing to use during the preparation work. Actors with an upcoming audition or material they are currently working on are encouraged to bring it and use the workshop as an opportunity to explore their preparation process in real time. If you're also participating in the afternoon session you can use your assigned script.
For actors participating in the afternoon Scene Study Intensive, the morning session is required and will serve as the foundation for the work that continues throughout the day. Afternoon participants will receive assigned roles and scenes in advance.
11:00–11:30 AM | Transition to smaller space with furniture & TV monitor.
Begin Small Group Afternoon Scene Study Intensive
11:30 AM–1:00 PM
The afternoon shifts into a smaller, more focused scene study environment. Actors will work on their pre-assigned scenes with individualized direction, adjustments, and support.
Each scene will receive a minimum of 30 minutes of focused work, allowing actors time to dig deeper rather than simply perform once and move on.
1:00–2:00 PM | Lunch
With only 20 actors maximum, the afternoon is intentionally designed to give participants substantial individual attention and the opportunity to explore their scene work in depth.
2:00–5:00 PM | Continue Small Group Afternoon Scene Study Intensive
Maximum 20 Actors
