Our Monthly Workshop Series is returning this April.
These workshops are designed to give actors focused training on specific areas of the craft and the industry with our working actor instructors.
This month, Kellen Boyle will be teaching a workshop on Virtual Callbacks and Script Analysis, helping actors strengthen the skills needed to approach callbacks with deeper preparation and confidence.
About the workshop
Virtual Callbacks and Script Analysis is a workshop that teaches you how to break down any scene with clarity and purpose so you can bring grounded, authentic performances to every audition and every role.
You’ll Learn How To:
Find your unique point of view in every scene
Find the stakes and emotional tone of the scene
Make informed, personal choices without guessing
Study and research a show or film effectively
Give a Casting Director two great and different takes
Memorize lines quickly and effectively
Discover the hidden structure beneath every scene
Apply this process to both large and small roles
You’ll get up and perform the scene along with a redirect fro, Kellen.
This Workshop Is For You If...
... you’ve ever felt unsure about what to do with a scene.
... you’ve ever delivered all the lines correctly but felt like something was missing.
... you’ve been told to “make stronger choices” but didn’t know where to start.
... you want a step-by-step process of breaking down an audition script and creating an authentic character.Meet Your Instructor: Kellen Boyle
Kellen Boyle has been a working actor since 2011, compiling over 50 film and TV credits along with dozens of commercials.
You may recognize him from The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Florida Man, The Family Plan, Sistas, Doom Patrol, Chick Fight, MacGyver, The Marksman, Dynasty and many more.
On top of acting in front of the camera, Kellen is also a writer and a teacher. Both have helped him become better at the craft.
