Our Online Professional Development for Actors workshop continues in January with an immersive, instinct-centered session led by working film/television actor and Backstage Expert George Gallagher, in partnership with The Actor’s Instinct.

George is the founder of The Actor’s Instinct Conservatory, where he has coached hundreds of actors globally through high-touch programs such as the 90-Day Career Accelerator, the 12-Week Advanced Program, and multiple on-camera intensives. His teaching draws from a modern evolution of Stanislavski’s principles, inspired by the work of Harold Guskin, Wynn Handman, and Milton Katselas. His approach reconnects actors to their natural impulses, emotional truth, intuitive creativity, and personal freedom — all through practical, on-your-feet exploration adapted specifically for a virtual environment.

With recent credits on major projects such as 1923 (Paramount+), Perimeter (Tyler Perry Studios/BET+), The Six Triple Eight (Netflix), and A Heart for Christmas (Amazon Prime), George brings a rare combination of industry experience and instinct-based artistry to this highly specialized session.

What to Expect

• Experience an instinct-driven approach in real time.
  George will guide actors through exercises rooted in impulse, authenticity, and intuitive response — the foundation of his Actor’s Instinct technique.

• Sides distributed during the workshop.
  Actors will receive their material live. This is intentional — George wants fresh, honest responses with limited preparation.

  Work actively in the moment, accessing creativity through instinct rather than overthinking.

  George offer direct, actionable feedback tailored to each actor’s process.

• The Zoom room will close promptly at the start time.
  No late admissions will be permitted out of respect for the instructor and participants.

• This is a highly interactive workshop.
  Please be prepared to work on camera with your full presence and attention.
